Construction Process
At Samples Residential we want our clients to be well informed and comfortable with our Construction Process throughout the project from start to finish. Below we have noted useful information regarding our award-winning process.
I. DESIGN & PLANS
Our client(s) work with our design and architectural engineering team to create, refine and finalize your design and/or plans. We will begin getting an account of your anticipated materials and finishes, allowances, and optional features & upgrades. Our team has years of experience with residential design, but if you would like to bring in an architect, we can provide introductions, matching the best fit for your proposed style and needs. Once we are retained, we will collaborate closely to create a design & plan that fits your desired function and cost parameters.
II. PRE CONSTRUCTION ORIENTATION
Our team implements a pre-construction orientation ensuring you have a firm understanding of your plan, design, specifications, selections & features, documentation, budget and overall project.
III. CONSTRUCTION
Our team will assist and navigate you through the phase construction schedule. You will have onsite meetings and walk-throughs with our Project Manager to check on progress, as well as discuss and make decisions. Our phase construction schedule keeps the process from becoming overwhelming, and allows the project schedule to remain on track.
IV. WHITE GLOVE SERVICE
Our team provides a “white glove” service to our clients. We handle all aspects of construction, from serving as the point of contact for all subcontractors, consultants, vendors and city/county inspectors to resolve any issue or concern that may arise. Construction will be overseen by your Project Manager, who will be on site daily ensuring all work is completed to our high standards, using only the highest quality building materials and techniques.
V. POST CONSTRUCTION ORIENTATION
Our post construction orientation includes a detailed list of what to expect as we begin wrapping up with your project. Our Project Manager will perform a detailed walk through to compile a final “punch list.” Upon completion, you will receive a comprehensive completion packet with copies of all contracts, project documents, manuals and warranties, as well as professional photography of your project.
